Zac Yanis, Jr., Psy.D.

Zac Yanis is a clinical neuropsychologist at Cognitive Rehabilitation of Georgia (CRG), where he specializes in the neuropsychological evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of adults with various neurological and psychological disorders. This includes attorney referrals for forensic evaluations, as well as referrals from neurology offices, inpatient and outpatient neurorehabilitation programs, and Workers’ Compensation companies. Dr. Yanis is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Clinical Medical Psychology at Mercer University (Atlanta Campus) and serves as an adjunct faculty member for Shepherd Center’s Postdoctoral Neuropsychology Fellowship training program.

Dr. Yanis completed his second year of neuropsychology fellowship at CRG, which included direct supervision by a Board Certified Neuropsychologist (ABPP/CN). Prior to that, he completed one year of an APPCN accredited neuropsychology fellowship on the Acquired Brain Injury Unit at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, GA, as well as an APA-accredited pre-doctoral neuropsychology internship at the Coatesville VA Medical Center in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Yanis earned his doctor of psychology degree from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology, specializing in clinical neuropsychology. During his graduate training, he completed neuropsychology externships through Emory University Hospital’s Center for Rehabilitation Medicine, Shepherd Pathways, Restore Neurobehavioral Center, and CRG.
