Alysa G. Wall, Psy.D. | |
Alysa Wall received her MA in forensic psychology from CUNY and worked in the field for several years before attending GSPP/Atlanta for a PsyD in clinical psychology specializing in neuropsychology. She completed practica at Restore Neurobehavioral Center providing psychotherapy to individuals with acquired brain injuries and at the Atlanta V.A. conducting neuropsychological evaluations for veterans before completing her internship at the W. G. Hefner V.A.M.C. in Salisbury, NC. Dr. Wall has a wealth of experience with a variety of problems, including trauma, chronic pain, depression and anxiety, sleep problems (including CPAP adjustment), eating disorders, and adjustment issues. She has specialized training in both clinical hypnosis for relaxation and pain management and choice therapy for behavioral change. Dr. Wall conducts neuropsychological, forensic, psychological, Workers Compensation, and Vocational Rehabilitation evaluations in this office, as well as providing individual psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, and the elderly. She enjoys working with people of all cultures, ethnicities, races, and sexual orientations. Dr. Wall believes that everyone can learn skills to help themselves feel better quickly and that no one deserves to be in pain.
